Focus On You

Because everyone else is thinking about themselves

Welcome!

This is the OutChasing 5 newsletter.

Each week before your long run Saturday, I send out a quick five which consists of Fuel for Thought, a Quick Win, Inspiration Station, a Pro Tip, and a personal Sign Off from me or the team.

We’re here to silently or loudly cheer you on in your endeavor.

We’re here for you so reach out if you need anything!

Fuel for Thought

No job is worth sacrificing your mental or physical health.

Your skills are valuable.

Quick Win

When you focus outward instead of inward you always end up with envy.

Enjoy the life you have.

Inspiration Station

One of the common regrets in life is that people didn’t live a life true to themself.

Focus on you.

Because everyone else is focusing on themselves.

Pro Tip

Maybe a strange post for this but I loved it too much to pass it up.

Your reps to success might be different.

That is ok!

We are all on our own journey.

This weeks’ newsletter really wrote itself.

I have had a bit of struggle this week between pursuing something I am passionate about and making a living. Both are essential. But the balance of the pursuit will need to be calculated. I find this newsletter to be somewhat relaxing and a bit of a break. The content is just what speaks to me this week. The OutChasing brand is who I am so following in that guideline isn’t difficult.

The next step to fit into the mix is the podcast. This is new territory for me and a bit out of my comfort zone.

I think the craziest part is I am feeling a deep push to not only this podcast but a second one that I have had on my mind for quite some time as well. Yes, two brand new things that are a bit terrifying. But the crazy part is it all fits because the 9 to 5 Athlete is my passion project and helping people where I have no intention of making money off of it. But the other podcast is essential to providing. If I stagger them I see it as an opportunity to learn twice as fast. Assuming I set the right systems in place from the beginning.

But to full circle this I am at the point where I am confident enough to pursue what I know will work if I put in the effort.

This is me not letting others dictate what I pursue.

I will live a life true to myself.
